Pricing & Registration
How much is Camp?
Glamping Tent Stay:
Single Bed: €1,999/ per week
Whole Tent: €2,998 / per week
Bunk Room Stay:
Single Bed: €1,999/ per week

What’s included in my stay?
Every session week includes 6 days / 5 nights of accommodations, all meals and beverages, access to daily workshops/classes, access communal spaces and activity rooms, and complementary rides during check-in/checkout.
Can I book for a group?
Yes, one person can purchase multiple bookings & addons. Each booking is assigned to a camper during the checkout process. We will use the name and emails collected to notify each camper on how to complete their registration.
What information do I need to register?
We’ll need your full name, email, dietary needs, allergies, medical needs, and bunkmate requests. Registration details will be be collected during the booking process.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club.

Who is camp for?
Root&Rise was made for all women and non-binary adults (21+).
Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
What is your refund policy?
You can cancel your camp or retreat registration for a full refund up to 30 days before your scheduled start date.
Within 30 days of your camp, registrations become non-refundable. If your plans change, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to another available week (subject to availability) or give your spot to a friend or family member.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. In cases of documented medical emergencies or travel restrictions, exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the Root&Rise team.
Packing & Preparation
What should I pack?
Bring comfortable, camp-friendly clothing and items you love to relax in.
What not to pack?
We provide towels, fresh linens, toiletries (hair and body wash), umbrellas, menstrual products, USB & USB-C charging stations, and hairdryers.
Ask if you’re not sure. No need to overpack.
Activities & Add-Ons
What activities do you offer?
Daily workshops include yoga, sound baths, arts & crafts, cooking, writing, crafting, and evening events such as bonfires or movie nights.

Are there optional add-ons?
Yes, we offer a winery tour, thermal spa visit, on-site massage, train station transfers, and reserved parking.

Getting to Camp
Where is camp located?
La Petite Marche, France

How do I get there?
Most campers fly into Paris (CDG) or Lyon, then take the train to Montluçon-Ville.
Arrivals (Tuesdays): Complimentary shuttles depart Montluçon-Ville train station at 1:00 PM (13:00) and 5:00 PM (17:00) to bring guests to the château.
Departures (Sundays): Complimentary shuttles leave the château at 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM to bring guests to Montluçon-Ville train station.

Can I drive?
Yes, we have parking for up to 10 cars (reservation required).
Reserve a parking spot during the booking process or login after booking to addon.
Accessibility
Is Root&Rise accessible?
While we are not ADA certified, we’re happy to provide detailed information about the terrain, walking distances, stairs, bathrooms, accommodations, and activity locations so guests can determine whether the retreat will meet their accessibility needs.
Policies, Safety & Conduct
What safety guidelines should I know?
We maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment. Pool, fire, and activity safety guidelines apply.

Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, all campers sign a waiver at or before check-in.
How are emergencies handled?
A first-aid kit is always available. Staff will contact emergency services if needed and notify your emergency contact.
How do campers protect the land?
Root&Rise follows a “leave no trace” philosophy. Respect nature, dispose of waste properly, conserve water/electricity, and please — don’t harass the cows.
